Security Statement – Skynet Cloud Computing
Last Updated: 2025
At Skynet Cloud Computing, all security measures and responsibilities are based strictly on the services defined in each client’s individual service agreement. We provide secure and reliable IT services within the agreed scope and do not apply controls beyond what is contractually defined.

Our Security Practices (Contract-Based)
-
Access Control
Access to client systems is limited to authorized personnel and granted only in accordance with the service agreement. Permissions follow the “need to know” principle. -
Multi-Factor Authentication
MFA is used on internal management systems and on client environments where such controls are specifically included in the agreement. -
Backups
Backups are performed only for clients who have backup services explicitly included in their service agreement.
Clients who do not have backup services in their agreement are fully responsible for maintaining and protecting their own data backups. -
Network & System Protection
Firewalls, secure configurations, and network isolation are applied only to environments under Skynet’s management as defined in the contract. -
Monitoring & Maintenance
Monitoring, logging, patching, and maintenance are performed solely on systems that are covered by the service agreement. -
Incident Response
In the event of a suspected security incident, Skynet follows a defined incident response process and communicates with the client according to the timelines and responsibilities specified in the agreement.
Client Responsibility
Clients are responsible for securing their internal users, devices, passwords, and any environments not managed by Skynet.
Clients without an active backup service in their agreement are fully responsible for their own data backup procedures and retention.
Continuous Improvement
We regularly review and update our security measures to align with industry standards, while ensuring all actions remain consistent with the contractual scope of each client.
